A Point of View.
A Growing Family of Places.

Founded by Chef Germán Lucarelli, our group brings together distinctive culinary destinations on the coast of Maine. Each has its own character, shaped by a shared commitment to exceptional food, thoughtful surroundings, and the art of making people feel welcome.

From the Patagonian fires of The Lost Fire to the waterfront tables of Cape Porpoise, our places reflect a lifetime in kitchens around the world and a clear instinct for what belongs here.

We build on what we know, create what we believe in, and give people a reason to return.

Character in Every Concept.
Conviction in Every Detail.

A CLEAR IDENTITY

Every concept begins with a distinct culinary point of view and a reason to belong. The food, the setting, and the experience are developed together.

STANDARDS THAT HOLD

Quality ingredients, disciplined execution, and attentive service give each place a foundation that lasts beyond the first impression.

GROWTH WITH INTENTION

We build from experience, carry forward what works, and approach each new opportunity with a clear sense of what we can bring to it.

Chef Germán Lucarelli

A world of experience. A very personal vision.

Germán Lucarelli’s culinary life began in Argentina, in his grandmother’s kitchen. It took him through restaurants across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States, with formative chapters alongside Gato Dumas and Martín Berasategui, and roles at BiCE, Da Silvano, and Soho House.

In Maine, that international experience found a personal direction. Drawn to the landscape and the warmth of its communities, Germán opened The Lost Fire in 2018, returning to the Argentine tradition of cooking over live fire and gathering people around the table.

Today, he leads Lucarelli Hospitality Group with a chef’s attention to detail and a restaurateur’s instinct for creating places with lasting appeal. His work is guided by a simple conviction: exceptional ingredients, a clear identity, and generous hospitality belong together.
